What is the MVP Studio?

A half-year R&D program for innovative EdTech solutions

MVP Studio is a program for smart, motivated programmers, designers and product managers interested in the field of EdTech (technology + education). You are invited to join our research team, and lead a product development process in the field of EdTech.

Developers who are accepted to the program join a team that includes teachers and educators from the field, and together will develop a prototype of an EdTech product. The program is based on learning and hands-on experience with tools and work methods from the world of startups, during which the participants are exposed to the field of EdTech, and find technological solutions to pedagogical challenges that come straight from the classroom.

Development teams that are promoting unique solutions to problems from the field.

During the program, participants will work at the MindCET campus in Yerucham, and will engage in a tailor-made R&D program, focused on innovative technologies. The participants will become part of the MindCET program, which includes content matter from the worlds of entrepreneurship, marketing, user-experience and more.

The program is full-time over the course of six months, and includes living quarters in Yerucham.

What's In The Program?

Product development
Members of the program will participate in product development workshops, and will be introduced to work styles and best practices, from the initial stage of deep research to identify the problem and begin to formulate possible responses, to the final stages of the development of the innovative technological solution. In addition, during the program we will deal with learning process, project presentation and more. Team members will be aided by experts in mentoring early stage projects: in product development, product design, user experience, usability checks, etc.
Desert Marathons
In order to accelerate the processes, the program includes five two-day marathons with users and professionals. During the program there will be additional events for feedback from the relevant market for the development process.
Remuneration and living quarters
Participants will receive a payment of 50,000 NIS for the duration of the program, work at the MindCET campus, living quarters in Yerucham, with its lively young community life and culture.
Introduction to the World of Startups
Program participants are exposed to innovative learning and development processes, will get first-hand experience in the exciting world of start-up entrepreneurship and innovation, will take part in fascinating lectures and workshops, will learn the leading trends in EdTech, and will apply the knowledge they acquire in the product design processes they are leading. The program is recognized as providing in-service training credits.

Who can apply?
We are looking for product managers, programmers, interface and user-experience designers, who are interested in creating technological products in the field of education.
Do I need to have an idea in order to apply?
On the contrary. The program is an R&D program, and not one for developing independent ideas. MindCET, together with industry representatives, define the technological and product focus.
What is the nature of the work in the program?
The work emphasizes entrepreneurial qualities. The process of product development requires familiarity and attentiveness to the needs of the field. Program participants will have the privilege of collaborating with the MindCET accelerator, for R&D purposes.
What are the living conditions during the program?
The living quarters are part of a residential neighborhood, of houses with a garden, a desert view, and a special atmosphere. Participants share apartments with others from the program. *The program is also appropriate for candidates with partners or family (there are family quarters if necessary).
Do I have to live in Yerucham during the program?
Yes! All the participants will live together in Yerucham. In the event of participants living in the Negev, they may be permitted to continue living in their home communities.
What is the application process?
The application process includes a recorded video interview, a face to face interview, a problem to be solved, a professional interview and a day-long selection workshop in Yerucham.
